Porting Your Number to Pickle

If you already have an existing inbound service, transferring your number to us is easy.

Updated over 2 years ago

If you would like to continue using a phone number that is active with your previous carrier, Pickle offers the ability to port your existing number(s) to your Pickle account (local, local rate, or toll-free).

✅ Before initiating a porting request, make sure that you are a current Pickle customer and that you have subscribed to a plan. Trial accounts are NOT supported for number porting, however, we are able to run a portability check for you.

If you would like to port your existing phone number to your Pickle account, please be prepared to provide the following information:

  • The number you would like to port-in

  • Your current carrier

    * If your current carrier is another VoIP service, please reach out to ask them the porting account number/owner of the number(s)

  • Full name of the owner of the number

  • Service address on file with current carrier

  • A copy of your most recent invoice

Once you have collected the information listed above, please feel free to begin the porting process by initiating a porting request here:

Initiating a porting

Go to the Phone Numbers menu in the Customer Portal.

Then click Add New Service and select either 1300 Number  or 1800 Number , then follow the prompts.

You will need the following information;

  1. Your existing 1300/1800 number

  2. The name of your current provider

  3. Your current account numbers (This should be displayed on the invoice)

Pro Tip: Unsure who your provider is? You can look it up using theNumberSystem number look-up tool. Simply enter your 1300/1800 number in Number the field then click search. Your current provider is displayed in the Current holder field.
