Setting Up Yealink T5x Series IP Phones
Plug and Play Setup:
Connect your Yealink T5x phone to an Ethernet cable with an active internet connection.
Power the device using Power over Ethernet (PoE) or the provided power adapter.
Your phone will automatically initialise and is ready for use with pre-configured settings.
Wi-Fi Setup:
Enable WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) on your handset.
Activate WPS mode on your Pickle Smart Modem to ensure a smooth connection.
Follow the on-screen prompts on the handset to complete the Wi-Fi setup.
Setting Up Analogue Phones
Using an ATA Adapter:
Connect your analogue phone to the ATA (e.g., Grandstream HT802 or HT814).
Plug the ATA into an Ethernet port with internet access and power it on.
The ATA will establish the connection, enabling your analogue phone for VoIP use.
Configuring Softphones
Download the App:
Android: Cloud Softphone on Google Play.
Set Up Your Account:
Log in using your Pickle credentials.
Configure settings like call forwarding, voicemail, and presence.
Start Calling:
Once logged in, you can make and receive calls directly from your mobile or desktop device.
Advanced Configuration: Portal Access
Interactive Voice Response (IVR):
Log in to the Pickle admin portal.
Set up automated menus to direct callers to the appropriate department or service.
Hunt Groups:
Create and manage hunt groups for efficient call distribution.
Assign team members to specific groups to handle calls systematically.
Scheduling:
Use the portal to define business hours and after-hours routing.
