Porting Your 1300/1800 Number to Pickle

Last updated on Dec 10, 2025

If you already have an inbound number with another provider, you can transfer it to Pickle while keeping the same number.

Porting is free unless your losing provider charges a release fee.

Information Needed

To begin, we need:

  • Your current inbound number

  • Latest invoice showing ownership

  • Authorised contact details

  • Completed PIC (Porting) form

Porting Timeframes

  • Simple ports: 3–7 business days

  • Complex or corporate ports: 10–20 business days

Your number continues to work during the porting process.

The Cutover Process

You'll receive a cutover window.
During cutover:

  • Calls may momentarily drop

  • Routing switches to Pickle

  • You will confirm the service is active

Common Porting Issues

  • Incorrect customer details

  • Number not owned by your business

  • Suspended service with losing carrier

  • Existing contract restricting port-out

We’ll notify you immediately if the losing carrier rejects the port.
