Onboarding: How We Set Up New Devices

Step 1 — Device Preparation

We set up:

  • Windows configuration

  • Security policies

  • Antivirus / EDR

  • Updates and patches

  • User profile configuration


Step 2 — App Installation

Common installs include:

  • Microsoft Office

  • Email and Teams

  • Browsers

  • Industry-specific apps

  • Printing & scanning tools


Step 3 — Security Setup

Includes:

  • MFA

  • Password requirements

  • Conditional access

  • License assignment

  • Admin/standard role setup


Step 4 — Delivery to Employee

Device is ready with:

  • User account

  • All required permissions

  • Security applied

  • Software pre-installed


Offboarding: Securely Removing Access

When someone leaves your organisation, we:

  • Disable their account

  • Revoke MFA tokens

  • Archive mailboxes (if required)

  • Transfer ownership of files

  • Wipe or reassign the device

  • Remove access to all apps and systems

This prevents any unauthorised access and protects sensitive business data.
