This guide explains what happens before, during, and after your Pickle service is installed.

Before Installation

  • Ensure your site contact is available

  • Have access to communications rooms or NBN enclosures

  • Confirm power outlets and cabling are ready

  • Prepare any switches, POS devices, or wireless APs

Installation Day

If a technician is required:

They will:

  • Install or test the NBN or fibre NTD

  • Confirm signal and light levels

  • Activate the service

  • Confirm handover location

If self-install:

You’ll receive:

  • Your Pickle router

  • Setup card

  • Any required cabling

Activating Your Pickle Internet

  1. Connect the router WAN port to the NBN/Fibre/Fixed Wireless device

  2. Power on the router

  3. Wait for the Internet light to go solid

  4. Connect a device to test

Activation usually completes within 1–10 minutes.

If Activation Doesn’t Work

Check:

  • All cables are firmly connected

  • The correct port on the NBN box is used

  • Router lights for WAN/Internet

  • Power cycle both NBN device and router

If still offline, contact Pickle and our team will diagnose remotely.
