This guide explains what happens before, during, and after your Pickle service is installed.
Before Installation

Ensure your site contact is available

Have access to communications rooms or NBN enclosures

Confirm power outlets and cabling are ready

Prepare any switches, POS devices, or wireless APs
Installation Day
If a technician is required:
They will:

Install or test the NBN or fibre NTD

Confirm signal and light levels
-
Activate the service
-
Confirm handover location
If self-install:
You’ll receive:
-
Your Pickle router
-
Setup card
-
Any required cabling
Activating Your Pickle Internet

Connect the router WAN port to the NBN/Fibre/Fixed Wireless device

Power on the router
-
Wait for the Internet light to go solid
-
Connect a device to test
Activation usually completes within 1–10 minutes.
If Activation Doesn’t Work
Check:

All cables are firmly connected

The correct port on the NBN box is used

Router lights for WAN/Internet
-
Power cycle both NBN device and router
If still offline, contact Pickle and our team will diagnose remotely.
