Managing your Do Not Disturb from the Yealink T54W/T57W

Learn how to update your Do Not Disturb Status on the Yealink T54W/T57W handset.

Some days might be busier than others and there may be times when you are unable to take a call. Whether you're jumping into a meeting or just taking a break, you have the option to change your status on the phone.

Do Not Disturb allows the users to set their phone as unavailable so that incoming calls are treated as if the user is busy.

Do Not Disturb

You can enable DND to reject all incoming calls automatically when you do not want to be interrupted. When DND has activated calls go directly to voicemail.

Activating DND

If there are multiple lines on the phone, you can enable DND for all lines. After activating it, the phone will reject all incoming calls automatically.

If both DND and busy forward are activated on the phone, calls will be forwarded to the configured destination number and not to your voicemail.

To activate DND do one of the following:

  • Press the DND soft key when the phone is idle.

  • From the idle screen select Menu and navigate to Features > DND.


    If Custom DND mode is enabled, select the desired line to apply DND to. In this mode, you can press the All On the soft key to activate DND for all lines.

    • Turn on DND.

    • Select Save.

If applied to all lines, the DND icon appears in the status bar and the phone prompts you that DND is enabled.

If Custom mode is enabled, the DND line icon appears on the desired line.


If you activate DND on the default line, the DND icons will appear both on the line and in the status bar and the phone prompts you that DND is enabled.

Deactivating DND

You can deactivate DND when you are ready to resume receiving calls again.

To deactivate DND do one of the following:

  • Press the DND soft key when the phone is idle.

  • From the idle screen select Menu and navigate to Features > DND.

    If Custom DND mode is enabled, select the desired line to apply DND to. In this mode, you can press the All Off soft key to deactivate DND for all lines.

    • Turn off DND.

    • Select Save.

The DND icon disappears from the status bar and the relevant line.

Configuring DND Emergency and Authorized Numbers

You can configure your phone to receive incoming calls from specifically authorized numbers even when call DND is activated.

To configure DND emergency and authorized numbers:

  • Access the web user interface as described here.

  • From the Features menu select Forward&DND.

  • Select Enabled from the DND Emergency field.

  • Enter the numbers in the DND Authorized Numbers field.
    For multiple authorized numbers, enter a comma between every two numbers.

  • Click Confirm.
